    Co-Curious

    One idea. Examined together.

Short conversations about how people learn, think and change. Each episode takes one claim and explores where it came from, what supports it, where it runs thin, and what follows. Hosted by David Maclean. A LearnSmartly podcast.

    What the podcast does

    One idea, examined properly.

Guests bring a claim about how people learn, think or change. Together we trace its evidence, its limits and what it asks of us.

    The idea leads

The claim comes first; the biography follows.

    Rigour, not rehearsal

We stress-test the idea together — agreement is welcome, clearer thinking is the point.

    Brief by design

Ten to twenty minutes. One idea, well held.

    Episode architecture

    The episode shape.

01The claimOne clear proposition. No biography first.
02The caseThe experience or evidence behind it.
03The testIts strengths, limits and consequences.
04The useWhat changes if the claim holds?
05The shiftWhat have you changed your mind about?

Every episode holds one idea strong enough to stand alone.

    What we'll explore

    Five questions we hold lightly.

Not a checklist to clear, but a shape for the conversation. We follow the idea, not a script.

    • What makes you believe that?
    • What is the evidence?
    • Where does it run thin?
    • Who would disagree — and where might they be right?
    • What would someone do differently?
    Be a guest

Bring an idea you can't quite leave alone.

If you have a claim about how people learn, think or change — something you've been turning over, that you suspect is truer than the field admits, or less true than it's become — we'd like to hear it. Send three sentences beginning: “I believe…” or “My field keeps assuming … I think …” We'll take it from there, together.
